This is part of the play list from the Tom Robinson show we were played on, on BBC 6music. This song is the lead track on our new E.P. which came out on iTunes on Monday 23rd of March. The other picture is an article which appeared in the 26th of March edition of Hull Daily Mail. We played at The Sesh at the Linnet and Lark on the 24th.

O.K. done loads recently, the interview for raw talent on BBC Radio humberside was aired on March 15th. Sounds good. i tried to be quite enthusiastic sounding, and it seems to have worked. Sounds better than than my usual miserable tones. You can listen again on the BBC iplayer if you so desire. We also did a gig at the Adelphi in Hull supporting Skeletons and the kings of all cities. They're a great band from New York. stayed at the adelphi until 3. Was pretty wrecked. Jacko who runs the Adelphi seemed to enjoy himself and Jim the soundman was his usual self. Next gig is Tuesday 24th at the Sesh at Linnet and Lark in Hull. then a month off gigs so we can get some recording done.
I've also Been getting ready for the Marble Valley tour. This is the other band i'm in with Steve West of Pavement. Should be good, loads of good venues and people seem to be up for the shows and excited about coming to them. There's a good vibe around this tour which is a bonus. The dates are:

I did the BBC Radio Humberside interview with Katy Noone. It went really well. It will be aired on either Sunday the 15th or 22nd of March on the Raw Talent show. Had a good conversation with Katy about music; The Band, Joni Mitchell, Johnny Cash etc.
The interview was supposed to be an overview of the band, what we were about, influences, etc. They are playing one of our tracks and then snippets of songs I have chosen. Here they are:

I really like track 8 off the new M ward album. Can't stop listening to it. We've been asked to do an interview on radio Humberside stating favorite album, first gig etc and favorite song of the moment. I think it'll have to be the M Ward one or track 2 of Microcastle by Deerhunter.
So we had a gig at lamp last Wednesday ( 18th) it was great, everyone seemed to love it, so very pleased. It's surprising we played well after the practice we had the Sunday before. I picked up Carl and he was wrecked- for a change- He had gone to the Green Dragon for last orders and been invited to a party. Whilst there he said to someone " she's a bit fat" the guy said " that's my wife!" any way Carl got into a fight after telling the bloke it served him right! He escaped through the fish pond with cracked ribs and hands which don't work properly, which isn't good for a keyboard player. So he spent sunday before practice drinking to calm the pain. He played great at the gig though.
Went to see AWAL (artists without a label) on Monday. e.p. is coming out March 23rd. They seemed really up for it. See what happens though. We need to do some promotion too or nothing is going to happen.
gig in Manchester on Saturday (28th) Really looking forward to that, also looks like we're playing the Windmill in Brixton, London in May.. will keep you posted.

It's always difficult translating a record into a live sound. We're definitely getting there though, after some initial practices at Archies, we have decamped to Hogarths for some sound proofed rocking! Our first warm up gig is in Hull at the lamp on Feb 18th before going to Manchester a couple of weeks later.
I've also heard that Marble Valley - Another band i'm in with Steve West of Pavement have a national tour in April. Scotland and England will be pillaged. I'll upload all the dates soon. Anyway, i'm off to change the keys of some songs.
